Huddersfield Town and Levy UK have agreed a landmark long-term strategic partnership covering catering and hospitality at the Accu Stadium, as announced by Levy in February 2026.
For matchday workers in Huddersfield and West Yorkshire, this is the operator behind concourse kiosks, premium lounges and the ground’s growing non-matchday events business – not a club careers listing.
What Levy is taking on
The deal is designed to transform the matchday and events experience across every area of the Accu Stadium, with Levy working across:
- general admission concourses and retail
- premium hospitality and culinary lounges
- non-matchday conferences, exhibitions and private events
A central pillar is turning the Accu Stadium into a 365-day destination – using the venue’s spaces around the football calendar rather than only on home Saturdays. That matters for casual hours: more midweek banquets, conferences and private hires usually means a wider shift calendar than a football-only contract.
Levy will also invest in concourse equipment, technology and hospitality developments, integrate regional suppliers into the supply chain, and roll out sustainability initiatives focused on waste reduction and environmental efficiency.
Why the timing matters
This is one of the first major operational changes since the club acquired the Accu Stadium and the surrounding 53-acre HD1 site in 2025 under chairman Kevin Nagle. Owning the ground changes the commercial brief: catering is no longer just a matchday contract, it is part of a wider plan to make the stadium a year-round asset for Huddersfield.
Huddersfield Town Chief Revenue Officer Paul Reeves said Levy was “undoubtedly the most impressive proposition” after the club and Town Sports and Entertainment Group scrutinised the options, and pointed to shared views on service, experience, sustainability and growth. Levy Chief Operating Officer Matthew Lewis framed the mission as reflecting the passion of the fans while setting a new hospitality standard for the region – and treating the stadium as a community hub every day of the week.
What this means if you work (or want to work) matchdays at the Accu Stadium
- Apply to Levy, not Huddersfield Town. The club hosts the match; Levy hires the F&B and hospitality workforce. Use Levy UK careers / Compass Group sports and entertainment routes and search for Accu Stadium or Huddersfield.
- Expect investment-driven hiring. New concourse kit, technology and hospitality developments usually mean a push for supervisors, bartenders, kiosk staff, chefs and premium hosts as the partnership beds in – especially around busy League One fixtures.
- Non-matchdays widen the calendar. Conferences, exhibitions and private events are explicitly part of the brief, so Accu Stadium shifts are not limited to 3pm kick-offs.
The bigger Levy picture
The Accu Stadium deal adds a large League One ground to a UK portfolio that already includes venues such as Wembley Stadium, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Etihad Stadium, Villa Park, Celtic Park, Twickenham, the Gtech Community Stadium and Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium. For casual staff already on Levy’s books, multi-venue registration remains one of the better ways to build hours across the season.
