The combination of rugby internationals, football, cricket and a packed summer concert calendar at the Principality means there are usually shifts available across every weekend of the year.
Principality Stadium is the biggest single venue to watch. Aramark UK was selected by the Welsh Rugby Union as the stadium’s food, drink and hospitality partner from mid-December 2025, with the contract beginning ahead of the 2026 Six Nations cycle. That makes Aramark the route to check for premium hospitality, kitchen, bar and food-service roles tied to the national stadium.
Cardiff also has separate football and cricket hiring routes. Cardiff City Stadium, Sophia Gardens and city-centre event venues may advertise through clubs, venue operators or agencies rather than the same employer as the Principality. For applicants, the practical filter is event type: rugby internationals and concerts create large one-off staffing peaks; football produces more regular home fixtures; cricket adds summer blocks. Confirm which venue, operator and finish time an advert names before applying.
