Bradford City have appointed Bradford-based Northern Kitchen as the club’s official hospitality and catering partner under a five-year deal from the start of the 2026/27 season, as announced by the club on 14 April 2026.
For matchday workers in Bradford, this is the contract behind the banqueting suites at Valley Parade – not a club careers listing, and not the same hiring route as the concourse kiosks.
What Northern Kitchen is taking on
From next season, Northern Kitchen will cater all of the club’s banqueting spaces, including:
- the McCall and Hendrie Suites
- Bantams Bar
- the 2013 Legends’ Suite
- the Jack Tordoff Boardroom
That is the premium hospitality layer of a 24,000-seat League One ground – suite service, hosts, chefs and event teams rather than general-admission kiosk work.
A local partnership, not a cold start
This is framed as an expansion of an existing relationship rather than a brand-new arrival. Club general manager Davide Longo said it had been “a pleasure to work with Patrick Dooling (Northern Kitchen’s owner) and the team over the last five years”, and that the future looked bright as the partnership continues for the next five seasons.
Longo also said the club is “always looking to enhance our offering to supporters and partners, something which the brilliant team at Northern Kitchen will help deliver”, and that with all banqueting suites under Northern Kitchen from next season, supporters and partners should notice “positive changes ahead as the partnership continues to evolve”.
Local operators matter for hiring too: Northern Kitchen already runs a café/restaurant in Bradford, which can be a useful bridge into stadium shifts for kitchen and hospitality staff already known to the business.
Don’t confuse suites with kiosks
Concourse kiosks at Valley Parade sit with Tiffin Stadium Catering, the club’s official kiosk partner. If you want bar or kiosk work on the concourses, that is a different operator and a different application route from Northern Kitchen’s suite hospitality team.
What this means if you work (or want to work) matchdays at Valley Parade
- Apply to the right operator. Suite and banqueting roles → Northern Kitchen. Concourse kiosk roles → Tiffin. Bradford City hosts the match; it does not usually pay the F&B workforce.
- Expect a hiring push into 2026/27. Taking on every banqueting suite for a five-year deal usually means supervisors, hospitality servers, chefs and hosts need lining up before the season opener – especially on big League One crowds.
- Non-matchdays still matter. Boardrooms and suites are used for conferences and private hire as well as matchdays, so midweek hours can sit alongside Saturday shifts.
The bigger Bradford picture
Valley Parade remains one of the larger League One grounds in England, and a five-year local hospitality deal is a clear signal that premium service is being treated as a commercial priority – not an afterthought. For casual staff in Bradford, Shipley, Keighley and surrounding towns, the practical move is to follow Northern Kitchen for suites and Tiffin for kiosks.
